Choose to Move 2000
"A fun, free, and flexible physical activity program developed for women" by the American Heart Association. The program "lasts 12 weeks and is designed to help participants gradually increase their physical activity levels to 30 minutes on most days of the week -- a level shown to reduce the risk of heart disease and stroke. Each week, participants receive information, tips and activities to complete. The site's proprietors seem to have a basic grasp of nutrition science, although none is formally trained in the field. ("While we don't claim to have all the answers, we do know that weight loss is possible, support is essential and we are here for you!" says one page.)
